Project Name: Dredging of Tar Bay Gaps and Stabilization of the channel
Amount of Funds requested: $500,000
Project Description: To possibily supplement funding from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Maryland Port Authority for the Tar Bay dredging and/or stablization of the channel with a stone jetty to prevent silting due to north winds or to use this funding in conjunction with the Tar Bay dredging project for stablization.
Additional Funds Being Sought/Allocated for project: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Maryland Porth Authority have indicated that estimated funds of $3 million have earmarked for the dredging project
